The Scott Apartments Identity Design

The new logo for The Scott Apartments draws on historical cues of the original building sign.

The Scott Apartments building is a National Historic Registry building and local landmark of Fort Collin’s University Park Neighborhood. Completed in 1924, it has housed countless tenants from all walks of life as Fort Collins grew around it. When owner Levinger Properties decided to give the building a full renovation for its next century of service, they knew it would not be complete without a formal brand and visual identity.

After studying the building's history, the popularization of brick construction in the 1920s, and hearing about Levinger Property's vision for the renovation, we developed a logo and full identity that put a modern face on this historic landmark.

The Scott Apartments is a Landmark circa 1924 apartment house that my wife and I have owned since 2002. We recently completed a comprehensive preservation and restoration of the entire property. We wanted to update its identity and web presence as part of the project. Clark Peak Desing’s work was instrumental in completing this part of the project.
