Lightning Systems (Now Lightning eMotors) is a pioneer in electric vehicles for commercial fleet use. Their business model is unique in how they facilitate new purchases of fully electric vans, shuttle busses, and trucks, as well as “repowering” of existing fleet vehicles such as city buses.
Lightning Systems found a skilled partner in Clark Peak Design for design services who not only could produce materials efficiently, but who could understand their business category to better connect with customers and stakeholder as they charged towards taking the company public in 2021.

We first worked with Lightning Systems on a brand image, a visual representation of all the brand represents and a literal nod to the company’s name sake, lightning bolt.
Next, we moved on to adapting the visual look to company vehicles, which serve as zero-emission rolling proof of concept examples.
